I would like to make a HUGE shout out to Jade, Dan, Alex and Justis who just recently tested and passed their Jr Black Belt exam!
Jade is the first student ever to earn his 2nd Degree Junior Black Belt and he performed well beyond expectations.
Dan and Alex barely seemed tired after their testing!
The one I will have to say makes me the proudest though is Justis! I know this is selfish but as my little girl follows in her dad's footsteps, it makes my heart…

I learned bear hugs. We practiced three the one with legs apart, the one with legs together, and using your arms. We also practiced break falls it was fun. I really like doing karate it teaches you how to defend yourself in the real world.

We have been learning a lot in classes & especially in the swat team. I am sorry that I have been slacking on my posts in here. I havn't been sleeping well & experiencing issues due to the lack of sleep. I do greatly enjoy being swat & learning as we go. I believe it is & will continue to be a great learning experience for everyone. We are learning what to teach & what teaching methods have proved to be succesful. As we grow we may stumble upon training methods that may…
